Crunch

I was in a pretty good car accident this afternoon while running errands in preparation for our trip to Austin.  It was raining, I was mentally thinking of all the things we had to get done, and I didn't notice the light turn red until it was too late.  I slammed on my brakes and slid into the intersection and right into the side of a little green car.  (My dad always said green cars were bad luck.)

Neither of us was hurt, and the damage to my vehicle was strictly cosmetic, but while her car was still drivable, it will need some serious rehabilitation, much to the detriment of my insurance premiums, I'm sure.

She looks like she's snarling.

I have been in several car accidents in my life, and while none of them have caused injuries, they have almost all been my fault.  There comes a point when ego aside, there is just no longer any denying it.  I'm not a very good driver.
