Movie: Soylent Green

Comments

I just gave Strix a comment on this:

"Soylent Green... Mmmmm yummy!"

ha ha ha

Yeah, this was a good old flick, (I liked Omega Man better) and since Charlton Heston died, watching some of these old flicks are a good tribute!

As I just told Strix, I love this movie! I've never read the book, though. Guess now I'll have to go find a copy. Gee, thanks. 8:-)
I haven't seen Omega Man, yet. I'll have to pick that up before I see I Am Legend.

I am here to serve. :-D

Classic!!!

However, to say "I Am Legend" was based on "Omega Man", is really sad, as "Legend" was really NOTHING like "Omega Man", except that there's a couple survivors, and some weirdos.

I don't know why they promoted the film like that, as "Legend" stands on it's own.

Haha, oh lord, I'm tempted to spoil the whole soylent surprise right here right now.

*navigates away from this page to prevent the spoilers!*
I think "I Am Legend" stuck closer to the book, but I wouldn't know since I haven't read the book, either. :-/
Hush, or I'll turn you into... oh, nevermind.
Me neither, but I have seen both movies.
Beef, it's what's fer dinner... LOL

One of my all time favorite movies ever! I haven't seen it in ages though. The first time I saw it I was like 12 or 13 and the going home scene made me cry in a way I never forgot.
