My Worldview

I also had to have a tie breaker, mine was between existentialist and postmodernist and I went for the existentialist view, but that decision was made before yesterday *wink*

I am glad to have seen the definition of materialist, I was worried it meant some-one who loved to buy stuff. So being a materialist doesn't seem all that bad.
Somehow I never saw you as materialistic. But then again I'm not sure this "personality quiz" was PhD approved LOL.
I think of myself as a "Carl Sagan Materialist." Life, the universe, and everthing doesn't have intrinsic meaning, but that doesn't mean that we can't find meaning in the world around us. We just have to be realistic and realize that we made that meaning, and we can change it if we need to. This is just a hair's breadth from Existentialist, but the world is what we make it, so we have to make it good.
