Okay, I'm a Bad Blogger
I don't know why, but I've just had no desire to blog over the last week or so. It couldn't have anything to do with being kick-butt busy. I apologize for my lapse, and I endeavor to make things right. Besides, I still have Vegas pics to post:
This very large statue is outside the Red Square restaurant, which is inside the Venetian Hotel and Casino. It is a statue of Lenin, complete with post-Soviet decapitation and bird droppings. It's very cool, but if I were running a restaurant, I don't think I would put simulated bird droppings right outside my front door.
The bar inside the restaurant we had dinner in that night. It was wired with fiber-optics and changed colors every couple minutes or so. It was very cool. The restaurant was Rumjungle, and they specialized in - you guessed it - rum. They had a whole page in their menu dedicated to specialty rums.
Another shot of the Luxor, this time at night with the enormous beam of light emitting from the top.
Does anyone know what the average per capital use of electricity is in Las Vegas, and how it compares with the rest of the States? I imagine it's ridiculously high.
The Excalibur Hotel and Casino.
The MGM from one of the skywalks over the Strip.
The New York, New York. We rode the roller coaster later in the week, which was a fairly unpleasant experience. It is not a smooth roller coaster by any stretch of the imagination. In fact, I think NY NY probably takes kickbacks from local chiropractors.
More tomorrow.

Pax your not a bad blogger. Even though I've been blogging consistently through this blog lately. I have neglected my east european one over the last few month I'm going to have to add some new stuff there shortly. Your Lenin statue has given me an idea + I have a tip to Prague coming up next month.
