Poem: A Thousand Words
If a picture is worth a thousand words
Then a thousand words should buy a picture,
Ten thousand words to purchase a sincere expression,
A hundred thousand to procure the truth.
I would trade a million words
For a one-line explanation
Of how I can be the way I am,
Do the things I do,
Be the man I have become.
A hundred million words I'd offer
For one moment of peace
Like I haven't had for years now
My mind an occupied country
In a salted-Earth campaign.
A billion words, with punctuation, too,
I'd freely give, with promises of epilogue,
To take back my life
To some tabula rasa
And make everything all right.

Now what did Strix ever do to you, to wish upon her such a fate?
And for your other comment, don't hate me because I'm beautiful. ::Thowing my hair back:: There are lots of other reasons.
