Wine Review: Ramón Bilbao Tempranillo, 2003 - Rioja

Comments

These wine reviews are useful! I'm fairly ignorant about wine so any tips are gratefully received.
There's a thing they do in Spain called "tinto de verano." It basically means "summer red." Buy a cheap tempranillo and mix it, half and half, with sparkling lemonade over ice. When I tell some people about this, they're aghast at the notion of putting lemonade (or ice) in their red wine. The Spaniards have been doing it for ages, and it's incredibly good.
Wow! Interesting! I'll have to try that sometime.
