I hate it when bloggers spend every post apologizing for how long it's been since the last time they posted, so I will do it just this once. I was blogging so consistently, then fell of the cliff. Anyway, back to it.
Here are some pictures from a balloon fiesta in Aztec a couple of weeks ago:

When I first heard the name of the park, I thought someone didn't know how to pronounce "Millenium." Actually, it's named after Emory Minium, a once resident of Aztec.
Blue hot air balloon
Swaying and undulating
Like a jellyfish
Hot air balloon breathes
With each propane injection
Tethered to the ground
Straining for the sky
The balloon wants its freedom
But stays tethered down
